"The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry."  This quote from a Robert Burns poem sums up the challenges of task and time management.  It basically means that no matter how well you plan something, always expect the unexpected.  We see this happen to us every day as we go about our work.  The goal of this component is to give you systems to manage your tasks and time and to help you set realistic expectations for yourself and others.
